My Bookish Life : Local Library Tour

Hello everybody! I hope you all are having a good morning . Mine has just started. I got to do something yesterday for the first time in over a year! That is I actually got to go in my local library! That made me so happy because before Covid I used to go there atleast twice a week so it was strange just to suddenly not get to go in at all.       After the first couple months of Covid, my local library did start to offer curbside service . It was better than nothing but still not the same as actually getting to go in. During the last week they have started to let people back in! You have to wear a mask and make an appointment but, it's worth the hassle to get to go inside once again.        I was so happy to get to go back inside yesterday I took a few pictures so I could take you all on a little tour with me. I have't really checked out the pictures yet so hopefully they all turned out awesome and are usable . Lets get this tour started!     So, this is the adult fictio

Hello everybody! How are all of you doing? I hope you all are having a good morning! My morning has been pretty good so far. I got my coffee and a few minutes of peace before my day really starts so lets knock out this book review before everybody else wakes up. Title: Rosemary's Baby Author: Ira Levin Genre: Horror Pages:245  Rating: 5 stars Synopsis: Rosemary and Guy Woodhouse , an ordinary young couple, settle into a New York City apartment, unaware that their elderly neighbors and their bizarre group of friends have taken a disturbing interest in them . But, by the time Rosemary discovers the truth it may be far too late.       My thoughts on the book: I loved the book! I guess you could say I thought it was devilishly good ! Pun intended! It's still early in the year but, I think there is a decently good chance that this book will make it onto my top ten year end list for 2021!    I had seen the movie before but, I had never read the book. The book is a lot better than

Hopefully, I can chill out some now though . So, I want to try to write this review.  Title: Liberty Defined: 50 Essential Issues That Affect Our Freedoms Author: Ron Paul Genre: Non-fiction Pages: 328 pages Rating: 4 Stars Synopsis: This book is pretty straight forward. All this book is is former Texas senator Ron Paul discussing his stances on 50 different issues this country is facing. Pretty simple right? My thoughts on the book: Firstly, I have to say I supported Ron Paul when he ran for president . After reading this book I still wish he would have won presidency. It's just that a lot of the things he says makes so much sense! This book was written in 2012 but it's still very relevant in 2021.                  I agree with a lot of the stuff he talks about in this book. I checked out this book becaus
