My Bookish Life Book Review: The Last Dinner On The Titanic

Hello again everybody! I'm back again with the book review I mentioned. I have been busy today so I'm getting all this stuff posted later than I thought I would. So here we go!            Title: The Last Dinner On The Titanic: Menus and Recipes From The Great Ocean Liner  Authors: Rick Archbold & Dana McCauley  Genre: Cookbook Pages: 144 Rating: 3 stars           Synopsis: A cookbook designed to recreate the atmosphere of dining on the famous, doomed luxury liner . It serves up such recipes as Lobster Thermidor, Quail Eggs in Aspic with Caviar and Poached Salmon with Dilled Mousseline Sauce and Cucumber,        My thoughts on the book: I thought it was an ok read. Not the best book I've read all month but ok. Some of the recipes sound really good . Even some of the 3rd class dishes sound excellent.        One of the things I found interesting about the book is that it talked a little bit about what it was like to be a cook on the ship. That was something I have

By stealing Black Thirteen, Mia has traveled through the Unfound Door to 1999 New York where she plans to give birth to her chap, a child born of two mothers and two fathers who will grow up to be Roland's nemesis.        My thoughts on the book: I like this one . It's one of the strangest books I have ever read period. However,  it's strange in a good way!           One part of this book that I find really really funny is when two of the characters actually realize they are book characters. Then they end up mee

With that being said lets get started with last months reading wrap up.                  The first book I finished last month  was Black Beauty by Anna Sewell. It really surprised me how much I ended up liking this book! Even though I did like it certain parts of this book can be sad but, the story does have a happy ending . I ended up giving the book 4 stars!                       The second book I finished in July was The Dark Tower : The Gunslinger Born by Stephen King , Robin Furth and Peter David. I read this book as part of a new graphic novel spotlight series I'm doing. I thought this was a pretty good adaptation of part of Stephen Kings Dark Tower series.
