My Bookish Life : The Aviators Wife and Saga Book Reviews

Hello guys! How have you been? I hope you all have been good. I know it's been a minute since I posted but I have been kind of busy. That being said I do have two books to talk about so this is going to be a pretty long post. With that being said let's get started!  Title: The Aviator's Wife Author: Melanie Benjamin Genre: I think it's historical fiction. Pages: 416 Rating: 3 stars Synopsis: When Anne Morrow, a shy college senior with hidden literary aspirations, travels to Mexico City to spend Christmas with her family, she meets Colonel Charles Lindbergh, fresh off his celebrated 1927 solo flight across the Atlantic. Enthralled by Charles's assurance and fame, Anne is certain the aviator has scarcely noticed her. But she is wrong. Charles sees in Anne a kindred  spirit, a fellow adventurer, and her world will be changed forever. My thoughts on the book: I think Melanie Benjamin did a really good job. I liked her writing style in this book and she did a goo

Hello guys and how are you today? I hope everybody is doing good today. It's a beautiful day here so I'm typing this up outside while my kiddo is playing. I just love how it feels out here today! The sun is out and the birds are singing. The wind is blowing a little bit but that just makes it feel nicer.   I have all of my house work done for the day so I wanted to take a bit to show you guys my April TBR. It's an extra long one so I hope you all enjoy it. Now let's discuss these books!     First up we have The Aviator's Wife by Melanie Benjamin. I have already read most the book. Not the best but not bad and I do think some of that feeling could be because I'm not liking one of the main characters!   After that we have Saga Volume 10 by Brian K Vaughn. If you have been reading my blog for long you know this is one of my favorite comic book series and I have reviewed most of the series for thi

Hello guys and how have you all been? I hope you all have been doing good here recently. I'm doing good I've just been really busy and that's why there hasn't been any book reviews recently. It's been a couple of busy weeks between my kiddo, doing housework, studying and getting things ready for the vacation I just got back from I didn't really have any spare time.         So, my family went on vacation recently and we went to Pigeon Forge, Tennesse. We stayed from Thursday to Sunday and had a blast. Also, if you stay at the Arbors Inn Hotel they have cute little reading nooks that yes I did enjoy while I was there. It was very peaceful! You will see that on an up and coming blog but not this one because I read these books before I left on vacation.    Now I have some free time though so I want to get this blog done before I get any farther behind. This is going to be an extra-long post though because you are going to be getting two reviews! So I hope
