My Bookish Life: March Reading Wrap Up

       Good morning everybody! I hope you all are having a good morning, It's pouring down rain here so I can't go to my gym class so I want to try to post my March Reading Wrap Up while the kiddo is asleep. I think I read a decent variety of books so I hope you all enjoy this wrap up! #1. Title: The Color of Magic ; Discworld #1  Author: Terry Pratchett Genre: Fantasy Pages:228 Rating; 4 stars My thoughts on the book:   I really like this one. I like Terry Pratchett;s writing and I find him rather funny actually. I want to read more from the Discworld series because I think Terry has started to create a rather fantastical world in this book. I also really like these characters ! Twoflower is still my favorite!  #2. Title: The Little People  Author: John Christopher Genre: Horror Pages:  228 Rating: 4 stars My thoughts on the book: This one was a very weird one. I happened to really like it though. I would highly recommend it to anybody who is a fan of The Twilight Zone because

My Bookish Life Book Review: The Eyes of The Dragon

         Hello everybody ! How are you all doing? I hope you all are enjoying the day. I have had a pretty good one. I have been enjoying the nice weather and I had a really good lunch. So yeah I have been pretty happy today! Kiddo is asleep right now so I want to try to get this review up while that's happening. So lets do this! Title: The Eyes of The Dragon Author: Stephen King Genre: Fantasy Pages: 226 Rating: 5 stars Synopsis: A Kingdom is in turmoil as the old King dies , murdered by a strange and horrible poison. While the land of Delain mourns, the evil wizard Flagg, hatches an unscrupulous plot, which sees the King's eldest son imprisoned and the youngest son inheriting the throne. Only Peter knows the truth about his innocence and he is also the only person who can save Delain.                My thoughts on the book: I loved this one! I think this is my first true 5 star read of the year. This story draws you in really fast and the world is pretty vivid .             

My Bookish Life Book Review : The Little People

              Hello everybody! How are you all doing? I hope everybody is doing good . I have had a really good but busy day myself. Now, I've got pretty much everything done so now I want to post my next book review for you all. I hope you all enjoy it! Title: The Little People  Author: John Christopher  Genre: Horror  Pages: 228 Rating: 4 stars Synopsis: An engaged couple become the owners of a castle in Ireland and they turn it into a hotel. They find their love for one another disturbed by the guests they have taken in and in whose lives they become entangled.  But more disturbing are the haunting suggestions  of an intrinsic evil in the castle, a presence that's both hostile and mysterious.  My thoughts on the book: This was my first time reading a book by the author John Christopher and it was a pretty good experience. If you like the show The Twilight Zone you might like this book because it reads like an episode of The Twilight Zone. It's one of the most bizarre boo

My Bookish Life Book Review: The Color of Magic Discworld #1

                         Hello everybody! How are you guys? I have been ok I hope you all have been good. I have had a very busy day but I want to relax a little and get this new book review up so lets do this!  Title: The Color of Magic  Author : Terry Prachett  Genre: Fantasy Pages: 228 Rating: 4 stars Synopsis:  On  a world supported on the back of a giant turtle (sex unknown), a gleeful, explosive, wickedly eccentric expedition sets out. There's an avaricious but inept wizard, a naive tourist whose luggage moves on hundreds of dear little legs, dragons who only exist if you believe in them, and of course THE EDGE of the planet... My thoughts on the book: I thought it was pretty good. It was a light hearted read which was something I needed. Terry Pratchett can be really funny which I enjoyed .       I thought the world and characters were decently well developed.  The world itself was pretty easy to invision and I liked the fantastical elements of it. My Bookish Life: March TBR/Bookopolly

               Hello how are all of you? I hope you all are having a good day. I have had a pretty good day myself . I went and done some much needed shopping and it was fun! Now I want to post my TBR/Bookopolly.  First up we have The Color of Magic by Terry Prachett.  It was on my TBR last month and I'm putting it on this months too because I really wanted to get to reading this series. I have already started it and it's pretty decent so far .         Secondly we have The Little People by John Christopher.  This is a horror book that I'm going to read for my Paperbacks From Hell Reading Challenge.  It just sounds really weird and hilarious.  I read it has gnomes in it and I think the gnomes turn into Nazis and try to take things over . I remember thinking it sounded so outlandish it made me want to read it !  Now let's get to the Bookopolly game ! Picking up from last month !           Hello everybody! How have you all been? I know it's been a minute since I posted. Things just got crazy and I also fell into a bit of a reading slump.
