My Bookish Life Book Review : Gwendy's Button Box

     Hello and how are you all doing? I hope you all had a Merry Christmas. Mine was pretty good. My house exchanged gifts this morning and then the three of us went to my in-laws for lunch and another gift exchange . The food was really good and we all had fun. After that we came home and rested a little bit and my husband put a prime rib on the smoker for our Christmas dinner and the kiddo and I went to my mom's for a gift exchange. Pretty much my whole family came so that was fun! I ended the day by reading a Blue's Clues Christmas story to my kiddo which was really nice!      Now, the day is ending and I'm relaxing so I want to post a book review that I have been meaning to post for a few days now.     Hello and how are you guys? I'm doing good I hope you all are too.           Hello and how are you guys? I hope you all had a good day . Mine was pretty good. Kiddo and I had a bit of a day out. We went to the bookstore and we got a cookie. Then we picked out Christmas ornaments. It was all pretty fun ! Then we all went to my mother-in-laws for dinner and to a gas station called Buc-ee's .          Hello and how are you guys? I hope you are all having a good day! I'm having a pretty nice day off. Mostly, I have been resting at the house. We have just finished lunch and now I want to do some work on my blog for a minute.       So we are nearing the end of the year so it's time for a yearly reading stats post! I know it's not exactly the end of the year so I know these stats want be accurate for the whole year . Whatever I read between now and the 1st of January just really want count for anything except my goodreads challenge I guess.      Hello ! How are you guys? I hope you are all doing good. My husband and I took our kiddo to the Christmas Parade last night and that was really fun. It was pretty cute!        Hi you guys! I hope you had a good day! My day was pretty good . I did some cleaning but, other than that I mostly rested and did some reading and diamond painting. Yes, I love to do crafts too! However I did tell you guys I would be back with my December TBR so here we go!       Firstly , it being the end of the year I kinda just want to pick some easy reads. Partly because I recently read two roughly 500 page books. Also partly because I have some serious non-fiction reads planned for next month.         Hello and how are you guys? I hope you all are having a good day. My day was pretty good . My husband cooked something on the grill called Brown Sugar-Garlic rubbed Rib Eye Steaks. My only complaint really is that I personally had already heard about a lot of the places mentioned because they are classics that always get mentioned when you talk about haunted places.              Hello and how are you guys doing tonight? I hope you all are having a good night. My day has been pretty good. My husband and I went and looked at new places to live and we found some that we liked.   Hello and how are you all doing this evening? I hope you all are having a good day . I had the day off and it was a pretty good day. My husband and I went out to eat and did some Christmas shopping for the kiddo. Then when we got home I had popcorn and watched the first episode in the new Chucky tv series. Monica Genre: Children's Rating: 4 stars Synopsis: Little Bean is an adorable bean stalk looking for a new home. With a little help from his friends, will he be able to find a safe place to live? Lets find out. My thoughts on the book: So my kiddo and I read this book together for a story time.  This was a good read and we had lots of fun . The story is adorable and it teaches a good lesson about the environment .  I also thought the characters looked adorable . This is a really cute kids book and parents will enjoy it too. I like and appreciate how it talks about the environment . It encourages kids not to litter and that's a very good thing.  Most importantly, I'm positive little kids will love this book! My two and a half year old was hooked ! I

My Bookish Life : October TBR

       Hello and how are you guys doing? I'm super tired because kiddo kept us up a lot of the night and then I had to go into work today. So yeah I'm exhausted and running on caffeine. That being said I want to get this TBR up because I have been planning it for awhile.       All of that being said, no Bookopolly this month and maybe no Bookopolly next month. I wanted to pick out just spooky books for the fall season and that's pretty much what I have done. Also, this TBR list is for both this month and next month most likely because what I don't finish this month I'm going to keep reading next month. So now lets get to the book list! 1. My Bookish Life: September Reading Wrap Up

          Hello and how are you all doing ? I hope all of you are having a good day. I had a pretty good day at work. I ended up having to work over so I'm only going to be able to post my Reading Wrap Up today but, that's fine I can debut my October TBR tomorrow. I will say there are some books on it I have been wanting to read for a very long time!          I will say I think September was one of my better reading months so far this year. My thoughts on the book: It's just alright . I don't hate that I read it but, the story didn't grab my attention to much. There are horror comics that are way better than this one. I do wonder if I would feel any differently if I would have read Volume 1 first? I do sort of want to check out the first one to see if the story is any better that after reading that one.           Hello everyone! How have you all been! I hope you all have had a good day. I have had a fun day with my family .      Hello and how are you guys? I'm doing pretty good. It was a busy work day but now I'm chilling out at the house.  I have fixed me some of the Some Beach Ole Smokey Moonshine that I bought while on vacation and now I'm kicking back and I want to write my reading wrap up for last month. So lets get to this !  #1. Title : The Light Fantastic Author: Terry Pratchett Genre: Fantasy Rating: 3.5 stars Pages: 270 My thoughts on the book: I thought this book was a decent read . I did like it and I love Terry Pretchett's sense of humor. However, I didn't think it was as good as the first book in the series and that's why I gave it 3.5 stars.
