My Bookish Life Book Reviews and Reading Updates

        Hello and how are you guys? I hope you all are having a good afternoon. I have had a pretty calm Sunday myself! We all stayed at home which was peaceful!     So I have a few reading updates for you guys and more than one book review this time! I hope you guys enjoy reading this article because it is going to be a pretty long one. With that being said, let's get started! What could have turned to such great friends into bitter rivals? My thoughts on the book: This book was ok . It's illustrations are really good and the story is decent. My Bookish Life: Spooky season TBR!

      Hello and how are you guys! I hope you have all been really good! I have been really good but, also really busy! I know I haven't been posting on here much and I wish I could post on here more often. Maybe it will happen when my crazy life slows down!      I am getting in the spooky season mood and because of that I put together a super spooky TBR for the next two months! I have gotten most of these off my own home library shelf so it also counts as me reading from my backlist! I think I have a pretty good mix of books on here and I can't wait to talk about it with all of you! 1. The Nightmare Before Christmas: The Battle For Pumpkin King    I saw this comic at the store recently and just had to get it! It's one of only two new buys in this TBR. I confess I have already read this one, I just haven't had time to get the review up! I will hopefully have the review up in a day or two. 2.          Hello and how are you all doing today? I hope all of you are having a good day. My day has been pretty good! I have mostly been resting before the busy week starts back up. We are almost done we just have a little bit more decorating to do.     Hello and how are you all doing? I know it's been a while since I have posted on my blog. I still want to do it but, my life is just really crazy right now. I do want to start posting more often though and I do have two (counting this one) book reviews coming up in the next few days.    I have had this last book read for a few days now but, my life has just been so crazy that I haven't been able to review it. I have to say this is a really long book and another reason why it's been a minute since you have heard from me. That and I'm reading another book for a completely different review. My Bookish Life: My August TBR

    Hello friends! I hope all of you are having a good morning. I just made some coffee and I'm starting to wake up. I know I haven't been consistent with my book blog recently but, my life has just been really busy lately. That being said I have put together my TBR for August and I'm excited about it!     I hope this coffee will get me awake soon! It might take two cups this morning! This one isn't being very effective. So anyways let's get on with discussing my TBR for August!  First up we have Louder Than Hell : The Definitive Oral History of Metal by Jon Wiederhorn & Katherine Turman. I have wanted to read this one for a while because I really love music. Since I had to get it from the library I have already started reading it. It's really good so far. It kind of reads like one long interview with a lot of different bands. It starts in the 70s and works it's way up to more modern times.  After that we have The First Commandment by Brad Thor. I'm

       Hello and how are you all doing? I hope you are having a good day. My day has been alright. I have mostly just been at the house cleaning. So yeah nothing has really happened today.    My husband is cooking dinner and while he cooks dinner I want to try to finish my blog work for the weekend. I know it gets a lot of good reviews but, this one just didn't grab me.        Hello and how are you all doing today? I hope everybody is having a good day! I am having a pretty good day so far! We all went and had dinner at my mother-in-law's.       Hello! I hope you all are having a good day! My day has been pretty good so far! We have had a really fun weekend. My husband and I had a date day yesterday and we went to a new ramen shop. That was an interesting experience because I had never been to a ramen shop before. The food and drinks were good and I had fun! We also did some shopping which was fun!  We are just chilling at the house today. My husband is cooking some ribs on the smoker which will be really good for dinner.
