My Bookish Life Book Review : The Little People

Hello everybody! How are you all doing? I hope everybody is doing good . I have had a really good but busy day myself. Now, I've got pretty much everything done so now I want to post my next book review for you all. I hope you all enjoy it!

Title: The Little People
Author: John Christopher
Genre: Horror
Pages: 228
Rating: 4 stars

Synopsis: An engaged couple become the owners of a castle in Ireland and they turn it into a hotel. They find their love for one another disturbed by the guests they have taken in and in whose lives they become entangled.  But more disturbing are the haunting suggestions  of an intrinsic evil in the castle, a presence that's both hostile and mysterious.

My thoughts on the book: This was my first time reading a book by the author John Christopher and it was a pretty good experience. If you like the show The Twilight Zone you might like this book because it reads like an episode of The Twilight Zone. It's one of the most bizarre books I've read in awhile and I mean that in a good way .

I also liked that it was a pretty easy read. It's only 228 pages and it's so strange that the story keeps your attention and is easy to get into the story. Plus, the author did a really good job with the pace of the story so it really doesn't  get slow. It's actually pretty fast paced.

If you like the odd and the strange I would for sure recommend this book! I happen to love strange stuff so I give this book 4 stars ! It was a really good read and I for sure want to read more books by John Christopher.

That's it for this reading update. If you have read The Little People please leave your thoughts in the comments. I will be back with a review for The Eyes of The Dragon by Stephen King in a few days. If you like my content please give my blog a follow . That's it for now I will talk to you all again soon ! I hope you all enjoy the rest of your day!
