My Bookish Life Book Review: The Color of Magic Discworld #1

Hello everybody! How are you guys? I have been ok I hope you all have been good. I have had a very busy day but I want to relax a little and get this new book review up so lets do this!

Title: The Color of Magic
Author : Terry Prachett
Genre: Fantasy
Pages: 228
Rating: 4 stars

Synopsis:  On a world supported on the back of a giant turtle (sex unknown), a gleeful, explosive, wickedly eccentric expedition sets out. There's an avaricious but inept wizard, a naive tourist whose luggage moves on hundreds of dear little legs, dragons who only exist if you believe in them, and of course THE EDGE of the planet...

My thoughts on the book: I thought it was pretty good. It was a light hearted read which was something I needed. Terry Pratchett can be really funny which I enjoyed .

I thought the world and characters were decently well developed.  The world itself was pretty easy to invision and I liked the fantastical elements of it. I also really enjoyed the characters.  I think my favorite might be Twoflower.  I just liked his attitude.

It was a really easy read which I see as a good thing also. Getting into t h e story was no problem for me. It was actually a relaxing read and I liked that . As I mentioned previously I thought the world and characters were well developed and the story was easy to get into plus Terry Pratchett is funny so that's why I'm giving the book 4 stars .

That's it for this book review! If you like my content please follow my blog . I also have a FB page just type in My Bookish Life on Facebook.
