My Bookish Life: November TBR/Bookopoly Round 1

Hello everybody! How are you all doing? I hope you are all having a good day. Mine has been really good so far. I went to the gym this morning and I feel really good like I've been killing it today. The kiddo is asleep so I thought I would post my November TBR and show you guys the surprise I have been telling you all I was going to debut on my blog this month!

Ok so I'm no longer really doing a TBR jar I got tired of it and decided I wanted to change things up. Instead of that , I'm now going to be playing a game called Bookopoly every month. My TBR jar isn't completely going away it does have a space on the board so you will see it again eventually. How this game works is each board space is a different reading prompt/category and I have to pick a book that fits the prompt/category of the space I land on . Also, if I role doubles or land on add a book I role twice instead of once . I will explain the spaces in more detail as I land on them. So lets get to it shall we.

November TBR:

1. First off I am finishing my reread of the Dark Tower series this month. I'm not waiting any longer. I have already started this book and I am over 140 pages in . Hopefully, I will have a review up soon.

First Bookopoly Roll:

It's a 4 and I landed on Add A Book. So , I can pick any book I want to add to my TBR and then I roll again like I rolled doubles. Here is my pick.

2. Filthy Rich: The Billionaire's Sex Sandal by James Paterson. I like true crime and I have been wanting to read this one for awhile now. I'm looking forward to reading it because the story involves recent events and is still an on going news story.

Bookopoly Role #2 :

I rolled a 5 and I landed on Children's. This category is pretty simple when I land on this I'm just going to randomly pick something from my kiddo's bookshelf. Hopefully this will be interesting!

3. Pooh's Heffalump Movie by Disney. At least compared to the other two this will be a light and easy read. Pooh Bear is also adorable and brings back lots of childhood memories for me . My favorite character was actually Tiger though!

Bookopoly Role 3:

This time I rolled a 6 and I landed on Add A Book again. Since I just explained that one I am sure you guys know how it works. I'm kinda glad I landed on it because there is another book I can think of right away that I really want to read.

4. I can't take a picture of it because it's a kindle book and my kindle battery is currently dead but the book is Little Haven by Nick Cutter. I read The Troop last year and have been wanting to read more of his stuff ever since then. I hope I get to it I can't wait to check it out!

                                      Bookopoly Role 4:

It was an 11 and I landed on Fiction. So this was my last roll for this month . I can't take a picture of this book either because it is a book I had to place a hold on at the library.

Book # 5 : Code of Conduct by Brad Thor. It's the first book in the Scot Harvath series. I have read a book out of this series and liked it so I really want to read the start of the series.

That's it for this reading update . I hope you all have a good afternoon . I know I will my husband is smoking some ribs which I love. I still need suggestions for really bad books so please leave them in the comments. Also, if you like my content please subscribe to my blog. Goodbye for now I will talk to you all again soon!
