My Bookish Life Book Review: Song of Susannah Dark Tower VI

Hello everybody ! How are all of you ? I  hope you are good.  I'm finally done with Song of Susannah by Stephen King. I know rereading that one took forever . But I'm finally here with a review. So let's get started!

Title: Song of Susannah: Dark Tower VI
Author: Stephen King
Genre: Fantasy
Rating: 4 stars

Synopsis:  Susannah Dean's body has been usurped by a demon named Mia who wants to use Susannah's mortal form to birth a demon child. By stealing Black Thirteen, Mia has traveled through the Unfound Door to 1999 New York where she plans to give birth to her chap, a child born of two mothers and two fathers who will grow up to be Roland's nemesis.

My thoughts on the book: I like this one . It's one of the strangest books I have ever read period. However,  it's strange in a good way!

One part of this book that I find really really funny is when two of the characters actually realize they are book characters. Then they end up meeting their creator when they meet a young Stephen King in this book. I just find it hilarious!

The very weird story parts happened to Susannah though. So as it turns out she is pregnant. Not with her husband Eddie's kid but with Roland's kid. That is a surprise to Susannah because she has never slept with Roland.

The demon that's possessed her , Mia, tells her that what's happened is that at one point a female succubus got ahold of Roland's semen and the demon that raped Susannah was the same succubus but in it's male form. They end up having to go to New York in the year of 1999 to have the baby. Also it's a vampire cult that has to deliver the kid.

However, I love the strangeness of this story and that's why I'm giving the story 4 stars! I just really loved the weirdness of the story. Plus, it has some really good humor in it too.

Check out this picture I painted of Susannah.  I think I did alright.
