My Bookish Life Graphic Novel Spot Light: The Dark Tower The Fall of Gilead

How are you guys this morning? I hope you all are doing good . I'm going to have a busy day today but for right now I want to work on my blog for a bit. So I'm back with another Graphic Novel Spotlight! Also, just so you all know I finished reading The Last Dinner on The Titanic last night so I will be back with a review of it tomorrow. With that being said lets get started on this review.

Title: The Dark Tower : The Fall of Gilead
Authors: Stephen King , Robin Furth, Peter David
Art: Richard Isanove
Lettering: Chris Eliopoulos
Genre: Graphic Novel
Pages: 208
Rating: 5 stars

Synopsis: A horrified Steven Deschain learns that the deadly seeing sphere called Maerlyn's Grapefruit has been stolen from his chamber. Far worse, when he enters his wife's room to arrest her for theft his son Roland is standing over her with a gun in his hands.

My thoughts on the book: This one has to be my favorite out of the graphic novels for the series that I have read so far . I really liked the story this part tells . Farson has started attacking Gilead and the story gets really intense.  I can't wait to read the next graphic novel in this series!

As with the previous graphic novels in this series I really liked the artwork too. The artwork being good in this part of the series is pretty important too because a major battle happens and a lot of main characters die . The artwork being really good adds to the intensity the story has going for it.

I want to go back and talk about the story some more for a minute because I want to talk about it's intensity . So a lot of the story is about the Gunslingers making their last stand against Farson. With that being said they are really in a rough fight for survival and their backs are really against the wall here. The way that is all written and illustrated in this graphic novel makes for a really intense story .

For those reasons, I'm giving the book 5 stars! I loved it ! It was intense and action packed with some beautiful art thrown in ! Once again I have to say if you like Stephen Kings Dark Tower book series you should check out this graphic novel series it doesn't disappoint at all.

That's it for this reading update. Like I said I finished Last Dinner on The Titanic last night so I should have a review up for it tomorrow and plus I will be doing my I try food from books post on Wednesday most likely. I'm about to start rereading A Walk To Remember by Nicholas Sparks so that will be the next book I review. If you have read this graphic novel please leave your thoughts in the comments section. Also, if you like my blog please give it a follow. That's it for now I hope you all have a great morning and I good day I will talk to you all again soon.
