My Bookish Life : Book Review

Hello everybody! How are you guys? I hope you all are having a good day. My day has been good but busy . While my kiddo is being good I thought I would get my new review up for you guys . It also started my Paperbacks From Hell Challenge. I read Jaws first because I already had it but from now on I want to try to read them in the order they are mentioned in the book that is by Grady Hendrix.

Title: Jaws
Author: Peter Benchley
Genre: Horror
Pages: 309
Rating: 3 stars

Synopsis: There isn't a synopsis but, Jaws has been around for so long I'm pretty sure everybody knows what it's about.

My thoughts on the book: I thought the book was ok. The story was a good one ! However,  I have to say the way some characters were acting made me not care about them to much for awhile. I'm glad I held on there though because it gets fixed a little bit in the end.

I did find the story intriguing and intense at times . For an example, there was one scene with a little boy where I had to put the book down for a minute because it was to intense.  However,  that was something I really liked about the book actually.

There were some really interesting characters in this book. I do think some of them could have been better developed but they were still intriguing characters.  That being said though I was a bit disappointed with the ending. I just think it could have been better. Some of the deaths at the end were also disappointing too.

It was a good book. It wasn't bad really it just wasn't a great read though . At first I didn't like some of the characters which I think effected the story some for me . Also, like I said there were some disappointing parts. So, even though the book was a decent read I'm only giving it 3 stars!

That's it for this reading update. I will be back tomorrow with both my January reading wrap up and my February TBR. If you have read this book please leave your thoughts in the comments. Also,  if you like my content please give my blog a follow. That's it for now I will talk to you all again later!
