My Bookish Life Book Review: The World's Most Haunted Places

Hello and how are you guys? I hope you all are having a good day. My day was pretty good . My husband cooked something on the grill called Brown Sugar-Garlic rubbed Rib Eye Steaks. I really liked it ! You guys should try it sometime.

Now, I want to talk about books some before I go to bed . I have my egg nog and I'm just relaxing now . I think this will be a fun review!

Title: The World's Most Haunted Places
Author: Time Life Magazine
Genre: Horror/Paranormal
Pages: 98
Rating: 3 stars

Synopsis: Stories, info, and photos- Creepy , Ghostly, and Notorious Spots. The World's Most Haunted Places.

My thoughts on the book I liked it. It's a decent read . My only complaint really is that I personally had already heard about a lot of the places mentioned because they are classics that always get mentioned when you talk about haunted places. For examples of what I mean think of like The Stanley Hotel, The Winchester House, and The Amityville House.

That being said even though I had already heard of those places, I liked the articles about them and the photos. Something I liked about the book is it did mention a place or two I actually didn't know about. For example it mentions a desert ghost town that's pretty much been taken completely over by sand now.

I really have to complement the photographers. The photos usually managed to be both beautiful and creepy at the same time.  They were done very very well!

It was a quick read and I liked it overall. The reason why I'm only giving it 3 stars is because I already knew about 90% of the places mentioned. However, if you are new to the ghost world and want to learn about haunted places, I would recommend this book for sure!

That's it for this reading update! I have started reading Little Heaven by Nick Cutter. I will have a review up for it very soon . If you have read this book please leave your thoughts in the comments so we can discuss. Also, if you happen to like my content please give my blog a follow. Thanks for reading and I hope you all have a nice night! I will talk to you all again soon!
