My Bookish Life Book Review: Sleep Writer

                 Title: Sleep Writer
                 Author: Keith Robinson
                Genre: YA, Sci-fi
                 Pages: 206
                 Rating: 4 stars

Synopsis: What if you could warn yourself in advance about visitors from other worlds? That's what Madison does. She is the Sleep Writer.

Everything changes for 12 year old Liam when a girl moves next door. Madison is 15, pretty, and much weirder than she seems. Sometimes when she's sound asleep, she scrawls messages on a notepad by her pillow. She finds these cryptic words when she wakes the next morning- a time and a place. But for what?

Liam and his best friend Ant join her when she goes hunting around a cemetery late one night, and life is never the same again.

My thoughts on the book: I thought this was a decent start to a series. I think younger readers would probably be really entertained by it. Something I think I might do is give it to my son when he gets older.

The series could go to some interesting places after this book. I really liked this books ending and thought it was cute. I think I do want to read the rest of the series. It may be what I read if I participate in Brlieveathon next year.

Something I really liked about the book was it's sense of humor. My favorite character is probably Ant , I just found him funny. All of the characters in this book have a decent sense of humor though.

I had fun and a few laughs while I read this book. The characters are easily likeable and the story was fast paced. I'm giving the book 4 stars!

Keith Robinson is a local writer and I bought the book when I met him at Pine Con. He seemed like a nice guy and he did a q&a that day. If this book sounds interesting, I'm not sure if you can buy it in stores but you can buy it from Amazon . If you type in the author's name and book name it should pop up.

That's it for this update. If you like my content please follow my blog! Goodbye and I hope you all have a wonderful afternoon!
