My Bookish Life: August Reading Wrap Up

Hello how is everybody? I hope you all are having a good morning. My morning hasn't been so good but hopefully I will get to feeling better. I'm looking forward to posting my September TBR though so I want to get this done so I can do it. With that being said let's get started!

1. The Dark Tower Treachery
Authors: Stephen King and Robin Furth
Genre : Graphic Novel
Pages: 176
Rating: 4 Stars

My thoughts on the book: I really like this graphic novel series. I like how this one highlights the story of what happened to Roland's mom. I also think the artwork in these graphic novels is really beautiful!

2. Song of Susannah: Dark Tower 6
Author: Stephen King
Genre: Fantasy
Pages: 544
Rating: 4 stars

My thoughts on the book: This was a reread. I think the story in this one gets really weird but, I like it! I also like the humor that some parts of the book has.

3. The Dark Tower : The Fall of Gilead
Authors: Stephen King and Robin Furth
Genre: Graphic Novel
Pages: 208
Rating: 5 stars

My thoughts on the book: I liked this addition to the series. The story was very tense. The gunslingers are in trouble and Farson is attacking combined with the beautiful artwork you feel like your fighting right beside the gunslingers.

4. The Last Dinner On The Titanic Menus and Recipes From the Great Ocean Liner
Authors: Rick Archbold and Dana McCauley
Genre: Cookbook
Pages: 144
Rating: 3 stars

My thoughts on the book: This wasn't the best book I have read this month but, it's an ok read. Some of the recipes sound really good. Plus, there are some interesting facts in it.

5. Title: A Walk To Remember
Author: Nicholas Sparks
Genre: Romance
Pages: 215
Rating: 5 stars

My thoughts on the book: Some parts of the story are really sad but, I do like it. This book is a quick read that's easy to get into which is a positive.  I was rereading this book and I do wonder if I might have misunderstood the ending when I first read it as a teenager.

Reading Stats For The Month:
