My Bookish Life Book Review: The First 21

Hello and how are you guys? I hope you all are good . I've had a good day. I played with my kiddo and did some diamond painting. Now I want to work on my blog some!

Title: The First 21 : How I became Nikki Sixx
Author: Nikki Sixx
Genre: Non-fiction
Pages: 205
Rating: 5 stars

Synopsis: Rock N Roll icon and three time bestselling author author tells his origin story: how Frank Feranna became Nikki Sixx. In this book he chronicles his journey from irrepressible Idaho farm boy to being the man who formed the rock band Motley Crue.

My thoughts on the book: I really liked this one which doesn't surprise me. This isn't the first time I have read one of Nikki's books . I have read three other books that were also by Nikki and I have liked his stuff so far. In general I have to say he is a good writer in general.

So in this book you kinda follow him through his childhood all the way up to the time where he starts to form Motley Crue. I like it because you get to see the events that have made him who he has became in life. If you are a fan of his music you might want to check this one out!

The pacing is also really good. The story isn't slow at all it moves at a pretty fast pace in general. The book is only 205 pages so it's a pretty quick and easy read.

Other books by Nikki Sixx
1.The Dirt by Motley Crue (every band member writes there own chapters)
2. The Heroin Diaries
3. This Is Gonna Hurt: Music, Photography and Life Through The Distorted Lens of Nikki Sixx

That's it for this reading update . If you have read this book please leave your thoughts in the comments. Also if you happen to like my content please give my blog a follow . That's it for now I will be back tonight with my March TBR!
