My Bookish Life Book Review: Tommy Land

Hello guys how have you all been doing ? I hope you all have been doing good . It's been a minute since I posted but my life has been super busy . I have been planning a birthday party for my kids 3rd birthday which is tomorrow. Then My kiddo is als

o starting school soon so there have been meetings I had to go to. I'm looking forward to tomorrow though because it's going to be super fun !

For now though  I want to talk about books ! This one was a re-read because I happen to like this book so I hope the review turns out really good . I've got my coffee and I'm ready to go so lets get this review started !

Title: Tommyland
Author: Tommy Lee
Genre: biography
Pages: 269

Synopsis: Tommy Lee was born in Athens, Greece on October 3rd 1962, and raised in a suburb of California by an American father and Greek mother . At 17 he joined Motley Crue . They sold over 40 million albums , wreaked havoc, and scared parents world wide.

But this book isn't your typical journey that goes in a straight line from day one to now. Tommy is more interested in revealing what he considers most important about his life like how he cooks his steaks : what he thinks about the tabloids , the truth, his ex-wives , his band and his music. He wants you to know how his memories smell.

My thoughts on the book: Ok heads up this book is very graphic . If you are a prude this might not be the book for you. Considering who the book is written by and about that shouldn't really be a surprise. If it doesn't bother you when books get really wild and you can have fun with what you are reading you might like this one.

It's kind of what you would expect from Tommy Lee which is why I gave the warning about it being graphic. However, that also means it's a really fun and wild ride . It's also very high energy! All of that made it a very enjoyable read for me and hard to put down actually. Once you start reading it it goes by really fast too so it's an easy read.

The book covers a little bit of everything . Tommy does talk about Motley Crue and their career and all the touring. Then he also talks about his relationships and tabloid troubles but, this is his side of those stories so that's interesting . He tells his side of the story about most of the things that happened in his life.

I like this book and if you are a fan of his music and rock n roll stories you might like it too. It's really wild and fun overall . So I have to give it 5 stars !

That's it for today. I have to get ready to go to work now . I'm currently reading Asylum by Madeleine Roux. I will review that book soon .

If you have read Tommyland please leave your thoughts in the comments . Also, if you happen to like my content please give my blog a follow . That's it for now I hope you all have a good day and I will talk to you all again soon. ew.,m,.f4[m
