My Bookish Life Book Review: Dio Holy Diver

Hello everybody and good evening to you all. I hope you all have had a good few days. I have had a little bit of a rough time recently. I had a car wreck yesterday but, thankfully my kiddo wasn't in the car too. I'm ok today just sore and upset that the whole thing happened. Hopefully it will all be over and settled here soon. On a positive note I started my course to become a certified personal trainer today so that's awesome.

Now I want to talk about books ! It's been awhile since I have done this and I'm actually a little bit behind on my posting. That being said I will have a lot of posts coming up because I have a lot to talk about . I have two book reviews I need to post and a May TBR I need to post ! So, let's get started!

Title: Dio: Holy Diver
Author: Steve Niles and Scot Hampton
Genre: Graphic Novel
Pages : 124

Synopsis: The Holy Diver graphic novel is an original storyline inspired by one of heavy metals most iconic album covers ! This book tells the tale behind the events leading to the powerful moment captured on Dio's debut album. Why is the priest being thrown into the water ? Who is really the villain here?

My thoughts on the book: I really liked this one . I'm a fan of the singer Dio and I thought this comic was really good. It was a very beautifully illustrated easy read !

I thought the story was pretty interesting . It involves what I would call a cult and there is a priest trying to help them I would say . Which has a terrifying end .

Once again, I have to say that the whole thing is beautifully illustrated. It is really cool looking! If you are a Dio fan it's a cool piece of memorabilia ! It's for sure worth checking out !

I would recommend this graphic novel to Ronnie James Dio fans and fans of heavy metal music! It tells a good story and it was a fun read ! I'm going to give it 3.5 stars !

That's it for this reading update ! If I feel up to it might be back with my review of Asylum either tonight or tomorrow . I may have my TBR posted sometime tomorrow too. If you have read this book please leave your thoughts in the comments . Also if you like my content please subscribe to my blog . That's it for now I will talk to you all again soon !
