Hello everybody ! How are you guys? I hope your evening is going well. I finished this book yesterday and I have been looking forward to reviewing it so let's get to it!

Title: Haunted Dalton, Georgia
Author: Connie Hall Scott
Genre: Paranormal
Pages: 128
Rating: 5 stars

Synopsis: Nestled in the foothills of the picturesque North Georgia mountains , Dalton is a city steeped in history and legend . The Cherokee's called it the "Enchanted Land" before they were driven out through an American tragedy known as The Trail of Tears . As the gateway to the Civil War , Whitfield County hosted bloody battles and sacrificed many of it's own . It is home to an array of spirits that , for reasons of their own refuse to leave. The laughter of ghost children still echos through the historic Wink Theater. From the weeping girl of the former Hotel Dalton to the long-dead marching ghosts of soldiers and beyond, Dalton abounds in paranormal activity. Join author Connie Scott Hall on a journey through a host of spectral things that go bump in the night.

My thoughts on the book : I loved it ! I was in the mood for ghost stories and this book was the perfect answer. It helped things start to feel like the Halloween season!

I live close to Dalton so I found the history in the book interesting . I also found the legends in the book interesting  and just fun to know. A lot of the places mentioned in this book are just a few minutes away from where I live so it struck close to home for me literally.

The stories of supposed haunts in this book are really good.  The author does a good job of telling the haunted history of the place. Which I appreciate because I am a local .

After I read the stories in this I did go to some of the places that are mentioned. These are places that are local for me so th ar t made it a lot of fun. Given that Covid is happening it helped it feel like Halloween! I liked that a lot.

I have to give this book 5 stars . It was a real spin chiller. Plus,  I liked the story telling and the fact that it delt with locations that where local to me. Even, if you aren't local to the region this book is still a good one because it tells you some of the towns history plus some ghost stories thrown in.

If you have read this book leave your thoughts in the comments. Also , if you like my content please follow my blog . That's it for now I will talk to you all later . Goodbye!
