My Bookish Life: August Bookopolly TBR

Hello, everybody! How have you all been ? I hope you all have had a good day. I have had a pretty good day myself . I took the kiddo shopping and got him new fall clothes and did some Christmas shopping.  Then kiddo and I went walking and he watched me exercise. I have my house stuff done so now I want to post my August TBR!

I'm going to start with some books that are on here just because I really want to read them and then I will play my Bookopolly game for the other picks. I hope this turns out to be a decent variety of books! I'm excited to see what my whole TBR is going to be.

#1. The Light Fantastic by Terry Pratchett , this is one that's on this TBR just because I really want to read it. I have been meaning to get to it for the longest time and I just haven't .  I finally started reading it two days ago.

     2. Preacher Book 2 by Garth Ennis, I finally started my reread of this series last month and I wish to continue it this month! I love this series ! I'm looking forward to this one !

3. We Have Always Lived In The Castle by Shirley Jackson , I have been meaning to get to this one for awhile because I really want to continue the Paperbacks From Hell Challenge it's just been a matter of finding time. I do hope to start this one this month though. It looks very interesting!

Now lets get to my Bookopolly game!

So we are going to start from where I left off last month! Now lets see what I roll!
I rolled a seven and that lands me on Read-a-thon.

Ok, so I checked and there aren't any read-a-thons I would like to participate in this month so I'm just going to redo this first roll starting from here.

I rolled a seven. That lands me on Challenge Book!

That's funny because I was wanting to read that Shirley Jackson book above anyway and it's part of the Paperbacks from Hell Challenge so it actually counts for this space!

Bookopolly Roll #2:

I rolled a 12!

That lands me on True Crime! This is one of my favorite genres and the first time I have ever landed on this space so that's awesome! After this I have to role again because I rolled a double!

My Pick For This Space:

Till Death Us Do Part by Vincent Bugliosi. This is one of the books my mom gave me for my birthday and I have been wanting to read it , it sounds really good. I have also heard that Helter Skelter is really good and Vincent Bugliosi also wrote Helter Skelter so hopefully this one will be good!

Bookopolly Roll #3

I rolled a seven and that landed me on community chest.  Lets see what card I draw!

I haven't done this prompt before so let me explain what this one means . So I go and watch a youtube video from a youtube booktuber and I pick one of their recommendations! For this one I'm going to use the youtuber Beccaandthebooks !

Book Pick #4:

Ready Player One! Becca talks so much about this book and I have been wanting to read it for a very long time actually. I've heard lots of people say it's really good!

Ok, I have to get dinner started so I'm going to let that be the end of my TBR game for this month! I think I got some really interesting picks! I'm looking forward to diving into this one!

That's it for this reading update ! If you have read any of these books please leave your thoughts in the comments! Also, if you happen to like my content please subscribe to my blog ! That's it for now I hope you all have a nice night I will talk to you all again soon! Goodbye!
