My Bookish Life : July Reading Wrap Up

Good evening everybody! I hope you all had a good day I had a pretty nice and relaxing day with my family . It was pretty fun ! We went to the park and had dinner with my in-laws. Now however, I want to finish the rest of the blog work I wanted to do today. So now it's time for my monthly Reading Wrap Up!

#1. Title: We
Author: Yevgeny Zamyatin
Genre: fiction
Pages: 108
Rating: 4 stars

The first book I finished reading in July was We by Yevgeny Zamayatin. It's a fictional book about the citizens of the totalitarian society OneState. They live out lives devoid of passion and creativity until one of them, Droid-503, discovers he has a soul. Looking back on this book it has stuck with me and I think I liked it more than I thought I did so I think I have to upgrade the books rating to 4 stars.

#2. Title# Preacher: Gone To Texas
Author: Garth Ennis
Genre: Graphic Novel
Pages: 160
Rating: 5 stars!

After reading We, I read Preacher : Gone To Texas by Garth Ennis. This was a reread for me I absolutely love the Preacher comic book series. The story is really good and as long as you aren't easily offended they are hilarious! I would recommend these if you want a fun read!

#3. Title: Halo: The Fall of Reach
Author: Eric Nylund
Genre: Fantasy
Pages:340
Rating: 3 stars

Lastly, I finished reading the book Halo: The Fall of Reach by Eric Nylund . I thought it was an ok read . It was a lot better than I expected it to be I will be honest because I thought this book series was just going to be a money grab because Halo is a really popular video game . However, I was surprised it actually has a decently good story . I can see how it is one of my husbands favorite books! I ended up giving it three stars!
