My Bookish Life Book Review: The Decade That Rocked

Hello and how are you guys doing? I hope you are all doing really good. I've had a nice couple of days. I really have been meaning to do some work on this blog but I've just been lazy about it. Hopefully I'm going to get it all done soon!

I have a lot of studying I have to do tomorrow so now that I have got my house work done for the day I want to chill and write about books! I hope you have fun reading the review because I had fun reading this book so I really hope it's a good one! Lets get rocking!

Title: Ther Decade That Rocked: The Photography of Mark Weiss
Author: Mark Weiss
Genre: Nonfiction/Photography
Pages: 376
Rating: 5 stars

Synopsis: Mark Weiss set an unmatched standard for rock photography. Starting out as a teenager by sneaking into concerts with a neighbor's 35mm camera, he embarked on a legendary career that took him around the globe and onto some of the most memorable album and magazine covers in rock history- featuring the likes of Van Halen, Ozzy Osbourne, Aerosmith and Motley Crue to Metallica, Guns N Roses, Bon Jovi, and Kiss, and so many more.

My thoughts on the book: I loved it! I knew I would because I love rock n roll history and rock stories. So, it was a really really fun read!

I liked reading the stories about Mark's photoshoots with the bands because he has taken some of the most iconic rock n roll photos. A lot of my favorite bands are in this book. Bands and people like Rob Halford, Motley Crue, Ozzy Osbourne and Lemmy Kilmister.

I also have a bit of an interest in photography, so I liked hearing about how Mark shot all of those bands too. I also have to say that the photographs in this book are extremely cool too! Some of them were also very hilarious like a lot of Ozzy's photographs for example.

If you like rock n roll I would highly recommend this book because they are talking about some of the most iconic rock n roll pictures ever taken. Trust me you want regret reading it and you will have a very fun time. It's just so good!

That's it for now. I hope you have enjoyed reading this book review. If you have read this book leave your thoughts in the comments. Also, if you happen to like my content, please give my blog a follow. I have already started reading Apt Pupil by Stephen King and I will most likely finish it sometime tonight. If that's the case I will be back tomorrow with another book review and I will get to open one of my reading challenge rewards! That's it for now I will talk to you all again later. Goodbye for now!
