My Bookish Life : January TBR

Hello and how are you guys? I hope you are all doing great. I've had a pretty good day. My work day wasn't to bad and I get to be off tomorrow. Kiddo just fell asleep, so I want to publish my monthly TBR. This is kind of like a special edition of my TBR too because, January is my birth moth so I'm putting things I really really want to read on my TBR.

The drink included in all of these pics is like an adult Starbucks drink that I made myself and it's really good. It's a little bit of Starbucks Gingerbread coffee, and some of Ole Smokey's Some Beach Moonshine topped with whipped cream. I got the mug as a present through Secret Santa at my work place. So now lets talk about the books!

The first book I've already started reading this month is The Decade That Rocked by Mark Weiss. This book is by rock n roll photographer Mark Weiss. It's a photography book where he showcases some of his best pictures and tells the stories behind them. I've already started reading it and so far it's really good.

Before I get to my second book I want to show you all the reading challenge I bought myself as an early birthday present.

On the inside it has 25 slots with both reading prompts and a little reward in an envelope you can open and get after you complete the reading challenge. To start this challenge I decided to go with Read A Novella as my first challenge. We will see what the prize is in the review where I read the novella. Which brings us to book number 2 on my TBR.

So my second book that I'm also counting for the novella part of my reading challenge is Apt Pupil by Stephen King. This is one of Stephen King's short stories and I've heard it's really good! It's been on my want to read list for a few months now so I'm going to go ahead and knock it out.

My third book I want to read this month is Queen Album by Album by Martin Popoff . It was a spur of the moment buy recently because I love Queen and this book looked really good. I'm looking forward to reading this one for sure!

My last book pick of the month is Path Of The Assassin by Brad Thor. This is the second book in the Scot Harvath series and I really hope I can get to it this month. I have been wanting to read it for a very long time now and I'm really looking forward to it.

That's it for this TBR. I will be back tomorrow with a review of The Boys Omnibus Volume 2. If you have read any of the books I have on this months TBR please leave your thoughts in the comments so we can discuss the books . Please don't spoil the rewards in my reading challenge though if you have done it. If you happen to like my content please give my blog a like and a follow. That's it for now I will talk to you all again tomorrow.
