  Synopsis: A modern classic, Carrie introduced a distinctive new voice in American fiction, Stephen King. The story of a misunderstood high school girl Carrie White and her extraordinary telekinectic powers and her violent rampage of revenge. Carrie remains one of the most barrier-breaking and shocking stories of all time.

   My thoughts on the book: This was a reread for me . I was reading it to complete the debuts novel challenge on the Banned Books Week Bingo board. Even though this was a reread I still enjoyed the story.

    I think the fact that you can go back and reread a lot of King's stuff and still enjoy it really says a lot about his writing skills. He has a very distinctive voice and way of telling a story. The way he tells his stories has kept me a fan for over half my life!

   I think Carrie was a really good debut novel. The pace of the story flows really well and you don't get bogged down. The tension in the story is also really good. Since the story is a page turner it's also a fast read. I give it 5 stars!

My Bookish Life: Top Ten Books For 2020

                          Hello everybody ! How are you all doing ? I hope you all are doing great . It's been busy for me . It's getting close to Christmas so it's been very busy with my family.              However, I did tell you all my top 10 books of the year would be out this week so I'm finally publishing that article!
