My Bookish Life: October Reading Wrap Up

October is ending in a few days so I thought I would go ahead and post my reading wrap up. I did complete all of the books on my TBR list so I feel good about that. I might even try to read 5 books next month!

The first book I read this month was Odd Thomas by Dean Koontz. I thought it was an ok start to the series . I have read better books by Dean Koontz though. I ended up giving the book 3.5 stars.

After that I read The Long Walk by Stephen King. I had been wanting to read it for a long time. I ended up thinking some of the characters blended together though. It still wasn't a bad read though so I gave it a 3.5 .

The last book I read this month was My Soul To Take by Rachel Vincent. I wasn't expecting to like this book at all but, it ended up being a better book then the synopsis made it sound like it was going to be. Some parts were also creepier than I thought something in a YA book would be. However, with all of that being said some of the plot points were predictable so I can only give it a 3 ratings wise.

        Reading Stats for October:
Books Read:3
Rating Average: 3.5
Pages Read: 1,047

I think I am going to be pretty ambitious with my TBR next month. I have Homebody by Joanna Gaines that I want to read next month and 50 Shades of Chicken. I also want to participate in the Buzzword Readathon that is being hosted by BooksandLaLa on YouTube. I think it starts November 13th. The Buzzword is a number so if the book has a number in the title it counts. That's when I will probably read 50 Shades of Chicken. I might read one other buzzword book if possible. I also want to draw two books from my TBR jar so next months TBR is going to be very ambitious like I said.

That is it for now. If you like what you have read please give my blog a follow. Goodbye and I hope you all have a good day.
