My Bookish Life Update

Unfortunately I couldn't finish the Banned Books Week Readathon on time. Other things kinda took over . However, I should be finishing the books sometime today or tomorrow.

I have a surprise for the blog which I really wanted to debut today since it's the first of the month. I made a TBR jar for the blog! It's filled with both books I own that I haven't read yet and books from my Goodreads TBR list!

How this is going to work is each month  I'm going to draw two or maybe three times from the jar. If I draw a book that's part of a series and I haven't read the first book in the series then that book goes back in the jar and I read the first book in the series. If I can't finish all of the books in a month they go back into the jar.

So counting my two picks from the jar that makes my Oct. TBR the following books:
1. The Long Walk by Stephen King ( just because I want to read it )
2. Odd Thomas by Dean Koontz (need to read it before I read Forever Odd)
3. My Soul To Take by Rachel Vincent

This TBR makes me pretty happy because since it's October I was hoping for scary/weird books and it looks like I have done pretty well there. With that I'm going to say goodbye to you all and I hope you have a nice evening. Also if you like what you are reading please follow my blog!
