My Bookish Life: These Books Will Self Destruct In 6 Months

Hello everybody! How are all of you? I'm doing good and I hope that you are doing good as well.

So I'm posting here today so I can do the these books will self destruct in 6 months article/challenge I told all of you about. How this works is I have randomly selected six unread books from my book shelves and if I don't read some of them within six months I have to donate the unread ones to the local library.  However,  if I read a book and I like it I get to keep that book.

Honestly, I just used eeny, meeny, mint, mo to pick the books out. When you see the list you will know I'm being honest about which books got picked because some of them I would rather not give away . However,  like I said if I read a book and I like it I get to keep the book. This is not going to be an easy challenge because some of these books are pretty thick. With that being said I think it's time to reveal which books are on the list.

Title: Psycho II
Author: Robert Bloch
Genre: Horror

Thoughts on possibly having to donate it:

I bought this book because horror is my favorite genre. However, I never got around to reading it and I have had this book for over a year now. Honestly though, I wouldn't be to sad to see this one go and yes it was in that rough of shape when I got it.

Title: Deception Point
Author: Dan Brown
Genre: fiction

Thoughts on possibly having to give it away:
This is the point where a series of nos happened for me in regards to this challenge. I like Dan Brown and I have read almost everything he has written.  I usually find his books to be very interesting. I'm going to have to make this book one of my priority reads.

Title: Horns
Author: Joe Hill
Genre: Horror

Thoughts on having to possibly give it away: This was my second no pick for this challenge! I have read Heart Shaped Box by Joe Hill and I thought it was really good and I wanted to read more of his books. I have heard Horns is really good and I would love to read it. Now it's for sure going to have to be a other one of my priority reads.

Title: The Fireman
Author: Joe Hill
Genre: Horror
My thoughts on possibly having to donate the book:
I feel the same way about it that I do about Horns. I really don't want to give it away without reading it first at least.  I've also heard that this one is really good too. For the record I have Joe Hill's books on two different shelves and that's how he ended up on this list twice.

Title: Questioning: A Thematic and Rhetorical Reader
Authors: Steven R. Carter & Mark Curran
Genre: Text book
Thoughts on possibly giving it away:
So this book is a text book about reading and literature that I bought from a library book sale. At the time it sounded really interesting, however I never got around to reading it. Now it's like the book Psycho II, I don't really care to much about possibly giving it up.

Title: Bag of Bones
Author: Stephen King
Genre Horor
Thoughts on having to possibly donate the book:
This one landing on the list scares me a little. Stephen King is my favorite author and what if I don't make it to this one and I have to give it up? This is going to be a difficult challenge!

Wish me luck because as you can tell this challenge hasn't done me any favors! Hopefully, I will be back soon with a review of Wolves of The Calla by Stephen King. Until then, if you have read any of these books please leave your thoughts in the comments. Also if you like my content please follow my blog! That's it for now I will talk to all of you again later.
