My Bookish Life : Book Review Preacher Book 6

Hello and how are you guys? I hope you all had a good day . Mine was pretty good. Kiddo and I had a bit of a day out. We went to the bookstore and we got a cookie. Then we picked out Christmas ornaments. It was all pretty fun ! Then we all went to my mother-in-laws for dinner and to a gas station called Buc-ee's . That place was huge it had at least 100 gas pumps! So I had a pretty fun day !

Now I want to work on my blog some before I have to go back to work tomorrow. I'm chilling out trying to relax and have fun for a bit . So let's do this !

Title: Preacher Book 6 : On Earth As It Is In Heaven
Author: Garth Ennis
Pages: 379
Rating: 5 stars

Synopsis: In this final installment of Preacher , Jesse Custer make amend with hi girlfriend Tulip. Then seeks revenge against his former friend Cassidy , He does this because of the things Cassidy did to Tulip when he thought Jesse was dead.  Most of the main characters from the story converge at The Alamo for one epic battle!

My thoughts on the book: I loved it. As I have been saying I love the Preacher series and it's ending was pretty perfect . It hits me every-time!

One of the things I really liked was the development the characters got. That was the really good part of this volume! You find stuff out about Tulip's past that wasn't previously known and that stuff is pretty good. Jesse kinda starts to see somethings that he done regarding Tulip that may have been wrong depending on how you look at it.  We also learn a lot about the type of guy that Cassidy actually because Jesse finds out a lot of his history and it's not good stuff at all . He was a very bad guy .That being said though I love the ending Cassidy's character,

Herr Starr has been practically driven crazy at this point. After everything that character has been through it's pretty understandable at this point. That guy has some of the worst luck it's hilarious!

I still also really enjoy the artwork this series has too. Steve Dillon did an awesome job . The artwork is part of what makes the series so vivid and it's beautiful in it's own way !

I would recommend this book if you like good stories with lots of humor. Just don't let it offend you. I have to give the book 5 stars because it's just a perfect ending there is no other way to really put it.

That's it for this review ! If you have read the book please leave your thoughts in the comments . Also, if you happen to like my content please give my blog a follow. I most likely will be back tomorrow with a review of the Sleeping Beauties graphic novel by Stephen King . That's it for this reading update I will talk to you all again soon !
