Author: Jim Pipe
Genre: Non-fiction
Pages: 121
Rating: 3.5 stars

Synopsis: From what escaping passengers tried to take to whether we'll ever succeed in raising the wreck, this Very Peculiar History commemorates the Titanic . It delves into the human stories of this tragedy , along with the background on the ships incredible engineering and design.

Thoughts on this book: Ok I do wish I could have got hold of vcd a physical copy because there is stuff in it that was not in my Kindle edition. Other than that though I did like the book and think it was ok. It did keep my attention for one.

I like the fact that I learned a few things I didn't know about the Titanic.  For example I didn't know that some passengers thought it was possibly an explosion that actually caused the ship to sink and not the actual iceberg.  I also learned a fact I didn't know about the Titanic movie that stars Leonardo DiCaprio and that's that when it came to building things like the grand staircase for the movie the used the same firm that built the actual Titanic.

Also this book included a recipe for a dessert called Coconut Sandwiches that was served to second class passengers on the Titanic. I thought it sounded really good! My mother-in-law has already loaned me a book to use for my article where I try food from books next month but since I  have already read this Titanic book and it also included a recipe I may do two articles like that next month because  this dessert sounded really good too. That depends on how things go though.

It was a short read but, since it held my attention and was decently good I'm giving it 3.5 stars! I found it to be decently interesting and it wasn't hard to keep focused while reading it. I do wish I would have gotten the physical copy though.

That's it for this update! If you like my content please subscribe to my blog. If you have read this book leave your thoughts in the comments.  I will be back tomorrow with my reading wrap up. I will talk to you all then!
