My Bookish Life: May Reading Wrap Up

Hello everybody! It's the last day of May so I thought I would go ahead and post my Reading Wrap Up for the month. I think I done pretty decently,  there was only one book on my TBR list that I didn't get to. So let's get started with the breakdown.

The first book I finished this month was
Def Leppard by Willy McGilly. I didn't like this book really.  It seemed like it was a cash grab and some of the facts weren't accurate.

      Genre: Biography
      Pages: 32
      Rating: 1 star

After that I read Wizard and Glass : The Dark Tower IV by Stephen King. I loved this one! It's really dense with amazing world building! It took a long time to reread it but it was well worth it !

 Genre: Western, Romance, Fantasy,
Horror
Pages: 699
Rating: 5 stars

The third book I finished this month was Scoop The Poop: Pick Your Battles by Meredith Masony. I absolutely love Meredith ! She is one of my favorite internet personalities because I find her to be pretty relatable.

Her book was pretty good. It contained good advice and I found parts of it to be hilarious! It was a decent read and I liked it.

      Genre: Non-fiction
       Pages: 161
        Rating : 4 stars

The last book I read this month was Titanic A Very Peculiar History by Jim Pipe. The book was an easy read it held my attention.  It was decently interesting and I found a food recipe I really want to try.
           Genre: Non-fiction
           Pages:121
           Rating: 3.5 stars

   Reading Stats For The Month:
       Books Read: 4
      Genres Read : 3
       Pages Read: 1,013 pages
      Average Rating: 3.5 I think

Also , I told you all I was making more Dark Tower art and below is the finished pieces I was talking about.

The top picture is of the front of the bookmark and the bottom picture is the back of the bookmark. First, I handpainted everything which took about 3 hours. Then I laminated it and strung the charms and the beads.

The next piece I made is this necklace . It is inspired by Roland Deschain and was pretty easy to make. After I figured out how I wanted it to look I think the whole process took me about an hour .

I have two more pieces of Dark Tower inspired art coming. One is a fabric collage which has took me forever to finish. The other one is another necklace.
